I get what you’re saying but republicans are in a different place. How many prominent conservatives are actually standing up to Trump? Massie and maybe Rand Paul but all relevant republicans just fall in place

I see what you’re saying about me being tied but I hate dems too. Do I think they’re better? 100% but I think they need to be harder on illegal immigration, I’m against abortion and I think they fight way too hard over the trans issue. My problem with your 2 points is 1) Leaders not standing up is one thing, but where is the mass waves of calling for criticism from the right? Genuinely I don’t see it and 2) I believe cause Trump has lied at every turn and betrayals of promises to critique.

He tried overturning an election, he hasn’t released the Epstein files, the deficit doesn’t matter anymore I suppose, he is defunding healthcare, he hasn’t ended the war in Ukraine like he said, inflation really isn’t and won’t go down, the economy isn’t improving, his tax cuts for the working class are temporary and political points only. My point is that the Republican Party needs more criticism of Trump. Every Congress member who was against him has been ran out except massie. I personally think a party that won’t condemn someone who literally tried to overturn an election really need a reality check. And if that makes me crazy or needing of a message then so be it

My guy NOBODY IS CRITICIZING TRUMP ENOUGH. You can’t both sides this when one person after a major political assassination is using inflammatory language, breaking promises and lying. Yes some leftists are defines exactly how you say. for context, im a definite liberal. i think trump has ruined the brains of this country and (amongst) others is a catalyst for some of the things i hate, fear, and cringe at most abt my country. and in my original post i agreed ppl not criticize him enough. and then i said why i think that is… that people dangerously assume noone can criticize their own party/leaders of their party without losing their identity of conservative/ republican etc

He already tried in his first term and guess what happened? A bail out of farmers. Plus do you deny his tariffs are inflationary? Why the hell are we eroding soft power by placing tariffs on allies? i agree partially in that i dont trust trump to rlly know what he’s doing…..and i don’t like that he’s gambling with the American people’s well being when so many of us r alrdy struggling… i also know these tariffs are a bargaining business strategy. he’s capitalizing off his image of being dumb and reckless, to where the world leaders may believe he’s fully willing to enter us into a lose/lose situation, hoping he can “negotiate the tariffs away” in exchange for legislation that benefits the US

actually lemme word that better. ur right, the tariffs themselves are a lose/lose situation for us and whatever country they’re on. i don’t believe the “businesses will have to move to america” BS either. i think he’s a risky business man who’s deciding to gamble with the largest economy in the world, in order to try and negotiate better long term trade deals for the U.S. i still don’t support it tho cause it still puts us in harder times in the short-run, and many people cannot afford ts

Okay I actually then agree to an extent. I want to clarify that I don’t think that Trump didn’t support them, I just think it’s illogical personally. Honestly I think I just got heated. Times are tough politically rn and I’ve had a bad day. I see what you’re trying to say, I just feel like we need to hold our politicians more accountable, and I do agree both sides in general need to be better
