I care more about who would fight for slavery now. If you guys are so against fighting for slavery why do you wave the confederate flag? Why are you against removing confederate monuments? I thought you guys said it was about states rights

The Republicans want them out or at least productive (as in, not living off the system). Dems want to keep them here to continue working for pittance wages or justify expanding social safety nets that don’t motivate people to get off them. You do the math.

If republicans were worried for productive immigrants then they wouldn’t be literally raiding jobs. You do realize there is a section of democrats pushing for workers rights for immigrants right? So you are upset that democrats are attempting to expand social safety nets for immigrants and them trying to expand that social safety net is why they are for slavery?

Also republicans are quite literally doing the exact same thing they did to black people throughout American history. Demonize, them paint them as violent criminals, put them in inhumane conditions like alligators Alcatraz, try to deport them, paint them as lazy. All of this is similar to what happened to slaves
