
it's a choice, not a mistake. a bad choice is not the same as a mistake for these purposes. calling it a mistake downplays their total and absolute control over their own actions. they didn't slip and mark trump on accident, or accidentally choose to abstain from voting. they made a choice and they should be ashamed of it; it's getting people killed, kidnapped, disappeared, attacked and more
Exactly! People voted for him after seeing all the shitty choices he made the last time he was president, voted 3rd party in swing states instead of doing proper research on those candidates (ie: Jill Stein), and ignored the large play by play of these next 4 years with the Project 2025 documents. These were intentional actions because they thought they were special and would be spared. Surprise surprise they weren’t because they are not rich corporations.
Yeah demonizing people who fucked up and are now trying to support you is a great way to not make friends. I’m not saying we need to be besties with the idiot people who allowed this to happen but hating on folks who genuinely saw the error in their ways and now want to do better is just stupid
