I’ve seen thoughtful rightish ideas upvoted but rn most ideas in the popular right culture are just bad ideas that lead to bad policy. And that’s obvious to a crowd of people who are in college and are sweaty about politics more than most people

Or thing one time I went to this right wing debate on campus and I had a really good conversation with someone but then they had to go and say but you do know even if you were right wing we don’t accept you as one of us? Like what does that even mean? It’s just some of the people that make it bad

But a lot of the right wing post on here are really dumb takes like i saw a post saying the right wing supports banning of books that talks about slavery and racism in school and I was like why? I feel like that’s a dumb take why not learn to not repeat history? Ofc you may not agree but some also don’t defend their points well either
