They’re dangerous, they use more fuel than they need to, they’re far less practical than wagons, they’re sold on the basis of off road ability that 80% of people never use and even if they tried the car wouldn’t be able to do what’s advertised, they’re ugly, even the ultra high performance ones are slower than a midrange sport sedan, they’re no fun to drive, they put increased wear on roads, and they’re generally kind of pointless.
