to be clear I don’t agree with this, it should be illegal in all stats to do something without the expressed permission. I’m just saying I would prefer it if you did that stuff without me being conscious because 1. it’s a medical procedure 2. it’s preventing long term effects 3. it won’t affect me, it won’t concern me, it’s a free nothing attached thing to keep me living longer

actually the states allow it are the ones that allow without prior consent. maybe you feel as though it’s not violating for medical students to stick their fingers in your ass while you’re under. but for MANY women it feels incredibly invasive. the problem also stems from the fact that some male doctors have been outed as doing it for no reason other than perverted ones. it creates a space where women don’t feel safe in even a medial setting

many women go through SA trauma and it can be triggering to find out something happened with no prior consent. it’s not okay for someone’s body, male or female, to be touched and penetrated without consent.

if you yourself don’t agree with it then i’m not sure what point you’re making. they don’t do this to men so you don’t have a say on whether “it’s not that bad”. it only happens to women, ive never met a women who doesn’t think that’s it’s a disgusting practice. we can both agree it shouldn’t be done. there’s not much for you to say

I completely understand that, which is why it needs to be illegal. I'm not disagreeing with you. The medical field is predatory, its exploitive, its a field created by men dominated by men. It uses outdated practices centuries too old

I'm saying if they do it to women they should do it to men. I'm also saying it should be entirely illegal. My main point is about it being llegal, my secondary point is if we are gonna do it do it both sides. My point overall sucks I know I apologize

no but i understand what you’re saying. like why is it only women they do this to? men also have check ups on their genitals, it gross that for women there doesn’t need to be consent. thank you for getting it
