I mean there’s tons of murderers and rapists in the US that get off with a slap on the wrist or just never get held accountable. I mean look at the Cornell 7 or the Nolan wells case, that’s 2 right there. Then there’s loads of abusers who aren’t held accountable which in a lot of cases id consider that torture (mentally or physically)
