It’s a very strange situation, they claim that certification should be canceled/postponed until they can verify whether or not votes cast for the guy with a similar name to the incumbent but there’s no mechanism to do that since the votes are cast anonymously

in all fairness (ba dum tsss), when were elections ever truly fair in this nation? that being said, yeah things are going to get so much worse. I’d genuinely be surprised if they don’t invoke that drafted EO to activate the national guard nationwide after the election, bc they were already brainstorming excuses to claim it was stolen in that draft back in february

Right. Context hat is they’re claiming allowing the independent candidate (Daniel J Sullivan) on the ballot is an INTENTIONAL act to confuse people who are voting for the Republican Daniel S Sullivan to choose the wrong one and split votes so the Democrat can win. I can’t imagine how they could ever prove that, and thus the lawsuit will eventually be dumped or lost if actually taken to court. I see it as another tool for the establishment to villainize third party voters (kidding but kinda not)
