I’ve actually seen a fair number of people who are fairly far right (who I typically find to be idiots to be very clear) speak out against Israel on the basis that they’re committing a genocide and don’t want American dollars to fund it. Marjorie Taylor Greene would be a prime example. Obviously I can understand that there’s a difference between that and Nazism but I appreciate your groundbreaking explanation. But I don’t anticipate Democrats will actually try to work anything out with her or

This isn’t horseshoe theory so much as to say that in the current moment, many people on the far left and far right want similar things but often justified differently

I don’t think what I said was groundbreaking, but it’s a general trend. For the people on the right who can see it as a genocide and oppose it, I can see it as a policy win for the individual even if we don’t agree on anything else. But I’m glad we can agree on moderates. Fuck moderates
