The first time that anyone ever taught me about consent was a two-hour “Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct” training that all students at my college were required to attend as freshmen. I’ve always felt like something was wrong about that fact.

My hot take (or not so hot take idk) is that colleges shouldn’t require students to take classes that aren’t relevant to their major. That is the job of K-12 education. (And yes ik there are some colleges that don’t require these classes)
