tbh they’re not even safe, only for the next few years maybe. major companies exploring robotics and embodied artificial intelligence aren’t solely doing it for the militarization and weaponization of AI, but also for preparation/training in order to eventually replace the blue collar workforce as well.

ahh shit I didn’t even think about prior to the boom in AI dev, that’s a great point. I can’t even imagine the true extent that the synergy of these two fields will look like, aside from fictional representations in media (which, yk, fictional lol)
