Thank god my work trip ends today. Texas is the worst, least free state in the country. No legal weed and no legal sports betting. Horrible homeless problem despite having an abundance of cops. Boring ass state.

As a native, it sucks. Hope you at least got to try the BBQ. One of the only redeeming things.

people who compain about weed being illegal in the modern day are stupid. just go get altinoids, THCA and HHC will do the same shit as THC

THCA makes my lungs hurt so much more when I smoke it for some reason

THCA isn't special to altinoids like D8 or HHC, there's a similar amount of THCA in dispensary weed as there is in altinoids. It's probably harsher cause they put extra THCA (either by spraying or cold tossing) onto CBD buds to be sure that the altinoid has lower than 0.3% D9-THC instead of just growing THCA buds

THCA and HHC are still illegal in all states where weed is illegal, they're derived from weed🤦‍♂️

THCA and HHC are commonly derived from hemp too, in which case they are legal

I will defend #4 in that aspect. I’m in Indiana where THC is very much illegal but TCHA and HHC are legal and sold in every smoke shop here. You can even get delta 8 or 9 edibles at some gas stations

Only on its raw form. THCA when heated turns into delta-9 thc. The bill passed making THCA legal still make it illegal to smoke it which is the only way to get high from it.

Some states have laws for the specific chemicals, Texas (like the post was about) follows federal laws on the issue making it illegal to smoke

Also never buy delta-9, thc, thca, hhc, or anything like that from a gas station. Its synthetic (made in a lab) and can make you very, very sick.

HHC should still be fine

HHC is technically synthetic either way. While it occurs naturally it has to be extracted and synthesized in a lab.

I never had issues with altinoids either but I also smoke a fuck ton so maybe its a tolerance thing

I realize that people just want to get high, but a someone who has been doing this stuff since belong before it was legal, where I am, its generally not safe to smoke anything that's not real weed. Just go where its legal.

Reputable source or not, altinoids are synthetic cannabinoids and they have only been around for a few years. We don't know the real effects on the body like we do with weed. These are harsher chemicals and in many cases so far have been shown to harm the body. The only THC alternative that is safe is delta-8 bc it's not synthetic and it's cultivated synthetically. Also, last year, fentanyl got into the altonoid supply chain all across the country and it still hasn't been taken care of.

So any altonoid you smoke or take, could be laced with fentanyl.

THCA is the precursor to THC. It's the raw acidic (hence the A for acid) form of THC. It was discovered back in the mid-20th century but wasn't researched at all until the 90s. No one began smoking the raw acid until the early 2000s. It takes longer than that to see the long-term effects of something. THCA is also known to cause more breathing and other lung issues, filling your lungs with more tar than normal THC.

Nobody smoked it by itself but everyone who smoked weed still smoked it

Also if its the same chemical, how would synthesized vs grown THCA be any different? That seems like an appeal to nature

When its smoked in plant form like that, you're not smoking THCA, you're just smoking weed. When its synthesized, they use other chemicals to extract the THCA from hemp (which is the only legal way to do it). These other chemicals are harmful to the body and residual traces of these chemicals remain in the THCA after the process is over. Its the difference between raw sugar and processed sugar, its still sugar but the unproccesed raw stuff is healthier.
