I’ve talked with a lot of leftist men and some of them who are really into it are very strange. I remember reading a Twitter post by a girl who joined the DSA. 2 different men tried to get 1 on 1s with her as soon as she met them

my hot take, as a leftist woman, is that liberal men make the best boyfriends (this is a silly generalization & not serious) but on a more serious note, i know what you’re talking about. some leftist men’s approach to dating or having sex with women feels off.

Back in high school (rural Missouri, very red area) there were very few leftists, mainly just me and one other guy, and we only ever really talked about politics, but eventually he ended up dating one of my close friends. They lasted a month. The stories I heard were wild.
