Pretending white liberals are secretly racist only plays into the narrative that “white racism” is the source of the problem. Research shows that other racial groups and white conservatives/moderates have a moderate in-group bias but white liberals actually have an out group bias. Much of the time they are self loathing and it can even result in poorer mental health outcomes.
