People really do sleep on Amtrak hard, yeah it’s not super fast compared to a plane, but many routes have student rates or under 21 rates that make it very cheap for a lot of college students, compared to flying or even just the gas of driving

I love amtrak, coach bus rides, flights, etc. Sometimes almost much as much as the destination. A solid stretch of hours completely away from the stress of the world. Just enjoying the view and some good music. Can’t beat it.

As if planes aren’t the same way, I’ve flown nearly every major US airline and never been on time 🤷 Just don’t count on doing anything right when you get there, plan to be late, low stress

Oh for sure! I worked in my local National Forest for a few years and I love getting to pass by it and talk about it
