I’m not a centrists but I don’t think the extreme internet users on either side ever have productive political conversations. not this community but most other parts of the internet.

and I love to see passionate people, but I was literally called a nazi for not voting Jill Stein today despite having leftist ideals, I get the anger for the state of the country, but I disagree with normalizing behavior like that in place of productive political conversations- I feel like more people would have them if they felt like it was an option

granted, that instance could’ve been someone chronically online trying to make leftists seem a way but I think there’s definitely extremists in both sides that lost the plot but are chronically online
