Another forever war, another holy war, another crazed dictator, another cult seeking rapture. You can’t bomb people into not wanting freedom. I’m so fucking sick of this.

I think all people are caught between their desire for freedom and their desire for safety. I think the average Iranian wants freedom, for sure. I also think that by bombing them, we only make them think more about the safety part of the equation, making them only more likely to throw in behind a despot who promises security.
