also transgender people have the same mental health outcomes as cisgender people when they receive gender-affirming care refusing transgender people care that helps them and then saying “see they’re mentally ill” would be like refusing depressed people antidepressants, it’s illogical and stupid

yeah, that’s why they do these things called meta reviews where they get all the studies together to make a single unified decision more studies supported gender affirming care being effective than not thus it was decided that it was effective, basic research and statistics man, do you have any idea how medical / psychiatric research / care works at all?
