can someone explain why everyone hates immigrations customs enforcement, obviously i dont support citizens getting attacked, but ICE has been a thing for 20+ years

We had a border before ICE, we’ll have one after it. ICE has been empowered far beyond its stated goals, being used in a manner more consistent with the President’s personal police force than immigration enforcement. ICE does not have the authority to arrest citizens, yet it does. ICE does not have the training to act as the TSA, yet it does. ICE is a riot control force, yet it does. ICE is the textbook definition of a rogue agency. There is no reforming it, it must be dismantled.

Well, they've killed several Americans. Assaulted others. And in their current form operate less effectively then under Biden and they aren't catching immigrants at the border anymore

They have been killing American citizens in the street, deporting legal immigrants without trial, and brutalizing detainees in isolated camps and you’re confused why people don’t like them????????? I think you’re being intentionally obtuse here.
