Our legal line in america is 18. It's serious and should not be crossed. But yes what do you think puberty and menarche are. Teens are sexually active. It's just a biological fact. Many other countries have ages of consent several years lower than ours. If you look at history teens were seen as ready for marriage and childbearing. You're right to feel defensive about this but there are shades of gray as ppl develop. We all know our hormones were raging by that time.
