I don’t like it tbh, it’s freaky that he’s adept enough to fake humility. He’s just a bit better at acting than trump is which means he’ll have better reach if he does want to consolidate power after trump croaks

Well because that’s what he does, that’s how he got to where he is. That’s what the administration he serves is all about. He was quoted many times saying how badly he disliked trump and now he’s hit the 180 to gain power. He suddenly found Catholicism as an adult right before running as a conservative. He admitted that he’d lie about things like the dog eating episode if it helped his position.

Trump convincing people that he “was one of them” is what got us into this mess in the first place. He went on joe rogan and played normal chill guy and so people voted for him thinking that he’d do anything to help regular Americans, which he hasn’t. The whole thing is a trick. I’m honestly astonished that some memes convinced y’all that he’s a genuine person

This is also why I find some of the criticisms of Kamala being “way too fake” as super laughable. She did what most politicians do as far as acting a certain way and tweaking her beliefs to be more electable but she didn’t hit any complete ideological 180’s like Vance did. Didn’t like about her past like he did. Plenty of valid criticisms of her but that one is completely hypocritical if you support Vance or trump

Ok way too much there to respond to all but I'll try. 1. JD changed his mind on trump. I donated to andrew yang in the 2020 primaries but here I am now. People change. 2. As he moved further right, he became more religious and was confirmed as a Catholic. Good for his optics and for his spirit. 3. Trump was never portrayed as average Joe normal guy. He's a billionaire. We know. But that let him say what a lot of normal people were thinking, but no career politicians were saying in 2015/2016.

Springfield is a very good example of immigration run amok. Even if the Haitians weren't doing public barbecues we cats, there were multiple reports of pets being eaten. And as a crazy headline it is a great way to bring attention to the other immense burdens the rapid demographic change caused for the town. Schools being unable to afford translators and hospitals being overrun and understaff. The situation was bad. And that kind of demographic change is cruel on the locals
