I haven’t once heard a legitimate argument for why he’s communist. I haven’t once heard a legitimate argument why he’s a jihadist. In fact, the only sources that claim this tend to be racist or xenophobic. Which one are you, OP? 🤔

Notice how they always use hyperbolic, and completely incorrect descriptors like “jihadist”, “radical”, “commie”, “psycho” when discussing completely normal leftist-leaning politicians. Meanwhile they elected an authoritarian, pedophile fascist and none of those words are used in an exaggerated fashion.

Even with that he’s still the best candidate in the race, like legitimately Fox News had to tell their anchors to stop talking about his policies cause their viewers were liking them too much. He’s just that good of a candidate, also he’s young for once which is a breath of fucking fresh air compared to all these billionaire boomers running everything while being completely out of touch. Sure he wants to seize the means of production, but in historical examples they didn’t also work to

Didn’t he say the end goal is seizing the means of production?

“But then there are also other issues that we firmly believe in, whether it's BDS, right, or whether it's the end goal of seizing the means of production, where we do not have the same level of support at this very moment.”

It was a hypothetical, but also, seizing the means of production doesn’t mean communist when he’s talking about putting the means of production in the hands of New Yorkers instead of corps, if he wanted the government of New York City to take the means of production it would be communist, this is socialist which again, he has openly claimed to be democratic socialist because he is.

I don’t really care what flavor of marxist he is. He clearly said the end goal is seizing the means of production.

Socialism isn’t Marxism, again and yea he wants to give power to the people and seeing how shit many of them live right now precarious on the verge of losing everything if something costs more than expected it’s not a bad thing, maybe if others spent less time sucking off billionaires we wouldn’t need that to happen

Not all socialism is marxism but seizing the means of production is explicitly marxist. Its an idea that is not only morally wrong but also hurts the people it intends to help according to the experts and every historical example we have.

Lower food costs, lower childcare costs, help homeless people, take care of our senior citizens unlike a mayor who left them to die during the pandemic like Cuomo, what’s different here is in the past when they did it all these people wanted was control cause of their own egos, Mamdani wants to actually make New York better and he’s not just talking out of his ass he’s actually putting in effort which is more than I can say for almost every other politician
