In Texas, you can just (fist) fight anyone as long as you get mutual consent. Not with guns/ no serious injury But “duels” in that sense are allowed .

But how do you prove “mutual consent”?

This just opens a Pandora’s box of legal issues.

Yeah, but there’s at least the criteria of “mutual consent” in the Texas example. You didn’t exactly say any guidelines for your policy.

I don’t think beating someone’s ass is a viable response to someone of different political beliefs disagreeing with you, unless they’re threatening violence towards you.

I don’t think that using violence is going to make people think you’re less “Nazi” or such. In fact, I think it’s just going to support the other person’s point.

Also, when did I say I cheered the deaths of Texas children?

I’m not saying that whatever your opinion you had was wrong. I’m saying that using violence does not makes you look any better. Are there people who use the Nazi label too much? Probably. But that does not excuse violence.

Again, who is “you people”? I never mocked dead kids.

I’m not making assumptions, or generalizing. Are there leftists who do? Yes. But you could’ve just said “people who mocked the kids dying in Texas should get their ass beat”, instead of saying “why is fighting people illegal”.

People call you a Nazi… for being Jewish?

I didn’t say anything about being a victim. I’m just saying that your point feels rather impulsive. I can understand where your belief comes from, but you have to consider how your point can be misinterpreted.

Mutual consent is relevant for everything including business deals and SA so not exclusive to duels Again it excludes serious bodily injury so you will always be charged if you put someone in a coma

I don’t think that. I’m just saying that I don’t think mutual consent is an issue here since if you do put someone in a coma then you’ll get charged regardless. But if you just have a normal fight and someone gets a bit hurt then it’s the same process as any other situation where consent is required

Right because if you punch someone without their consent that’s called battery and is illegal
