Well, Jones (now the Dem. AG candidate) sent the awful texts were sent in Aug. ‘22 and no action was taken against him at the time, even with the subject of the texts being made aware of them

Nothing was done with those texts at about the time of the AG primaries too, which already ended up being close. So…why else would they wait until now?

It’s honestly really common for stuff like this to happen. It’s the only reason Mark Robinson didn’t have a pretty decent chance at becoming governor of NC. They may have held onto that for 6 years.

This is a different case I think, since other than Jones only Republicans had the texts in their possession. It’s not like MR’s social media posts (which were in theory publicly available)
