The most segregated states are states dominated by liberals in government. New York and Illinois top the list. Not bc outside their major cities they’re conservative; it’s within them. Bc of class too. Also the amount of sundown towns, official and notJust because they were outlawed on paper doesn’t meant they went away, jackwad. They have a strong legacy. Plenty of current and historic demographic data to back that up. Acting like segregation doesn’t exist anymore is absurd. I’m born and raised New England and I can say it with a full chest. The two nonwhite families in town don’t negate the point
I grew up half an hour from a sundown town. The population has been counted on the census as being ~96% white. News came out one of the teachers there called black students the n word, and he got away with it until one day it was caught on camera To this day when I drive home to see my family, I have to drive through there. And to date I’ve never seen anyone who isn’t white there barring one instance. I’ve visited there semi regularly for almost 18 years bc I still have some extended fam there
