There will be huge infighting once Trump dies even if he picks a successor, but I doubt they'll be any less extreme unless the average Republican finally gets disillusioned somehow

tillis is positioning himself for a “forget that crazy shit ever happened” campaign, but idk if he’s got the name recognition or much love. he’s a republican senate representative in my state and you’d thing he’s a democrat on par with elizabeth warren or something with how the average republican speaks about him. it wasn’t always like that either, not until he started speaking out against trump lol.
