There are plenty of good people in this country and I genuinely wish better for them. That said, it’s difficult not to feel horrified and disgusted with our government right now

Wym by rooting against? Like I don’t wanna see our country fail soldiers die or anything, but like at the same time I want Iran to win the World Cup bc it’d be hilarious seeing trumps ego deal with the fact he’s handing Iran a victory trophy

Depends what you mean by rooting against the USA. If it's just about sports then yeah that's petty but I also don't care and think you should be allowed to root for whoever you want bc it's just a game. If you don't support the current state of the country and want radical change that you wholeheartedly believe will improve it, that's also okay. If you're talking about people who hate the country without proposing any solution other than just "everyone should suffer/die" then that's different.
