They’re not trained to march in parades, your MARCHING band is trained to MARCH in parades. This is just a lack of refinement for something they didn’t know they were gonna do until a few days out

I would say majority because (and I’m speaking with experience) once you make corporal in the marine corps, you’re learning sword manual and more parts of the drill and ceremony manual and refine the basics
