what do you actually want people who once had bad political opinions to do when they change their mind?? do you want them to live in shame and kiss the ground you walk on for being right sooner? we dont have enough space for people to reasonably change

how tho. if someone just voted for trump and was maga and all that, they cant really fix anything beyond just voting better in the future. but time and time again i see people mad as fuck in comment sections or just saying “we told you so” or smth. we WANT people to change so i dont understand why there’s anything but leaps of joy when they do

Spread information and such by word of mouth. Online. Get involved with your community. Volunteer. There are soooo many things to do. Every little action matters. Which is why the harm caused by them is so upsetting to people. Because every little action MATTERS. Even just spewing pro or anti regime rhetoric to a random confused person- you just changed that one person's mindset. Who can in turn change someone else's. Who can in turn become a very public, outspoken political figure, for ex

We're so deep in the shit now that there is no joy when it comes to people changing. Mass amounts of people changing though, what that's offering is an ember of hope. We, and especially the people who got us into this hell, need to capitalize on that ember.
