It also creates more victims that never get justice. Most sexual abuse is done by someone in the immediate family/close friends, and when little Suzy thinks her dad will be killed if she tells someone, little Suzy doesn’t tell anyone and more abuse happens. There’s lots of research on this but it’s also very easy to understand anyways. Honestly in my opinion they should die, but actually protecting victims is more important than my feelings about it

Also, who’s to say their parents are willing to help (remember we are talking about a child here…) Most victims are abused by close friends and family, their parents statistically are likely to be the perpetrators in some way, if not directly.
