The shit started in 2016 during his first term, granted he did do some Nazi shit no argument there, but a decent chunk of the stuff was perfectly in the bounds of existing law and the way our government works just very unpopular. People started throwing out Nazi and it lost a lot of its meaning. Now that he’s doing actual Nazi shit on the regular people don’t care because they remember in 2016 etc when he did something “mean” and was called a Nazi

was about to say this, there was a bit of a boy-who-cried-wolf situation in 2016 (on some things not everything) and it’s led to a situation where people use it to discredit blatant shit like elon doing the damn salute
