I don’t think you do! Nobody who understands the differences between these words would use it incorrectly because of a word limit, once you know the differences it’ll bother you to use the wrong one.

Could be but I doubt it, if you know the difference there’s really no reason you’d use the wrong one. Misspelling something is a typo that you would do by accident, not using the wrong one
