idk man the utter inaction and in some cases open cooperation shown by democrats since 2024 has really rubbed me the wrong way. it’s like their letting him get away with all this heinous shit so they can swoop in, fix the glaring issues, then preside over the ENDLESS corruption under the surface. i can’t in good conscience trust that democrats will use this almost assured election cycle responsibly when they’ve shown time and time again that their mediocrity does nothing to halt fascism.

I’m not a huge fan of the Democratic Party either but saying that the party not doing enough to stop fascism is just as bad as the party going full throttle into fascism is not true, which is exactly my point. And yes, there is corruption in both parties, but my god the huge and blatant corruption of the republicans is just so much worse
