Technically I don’t think he does. It is just the policy to not prosecute a sitting president, and because Trump is extremely wealthy, he could essentially delay indefinitely. Obviously, a poor person would be sitting in jail right now, if they did all the stuff Trump did. But I don’t think Trump can overturn his felonies, he is just a felon forever.
