I’m convinced now more than ever religion is just a tool to control stupid people. Christianity should’ve died out when evolution disproved the Bible

I don’t wanna sound like one of those “enlightened atheists” Reddit posters but i do think we as a society are starting to outgrow the need for it. Religion served as a rule book, an explanation for the unexplained, and a form of entertainment. We’re mostly past using theocracies, we have science and math explaining things every day and we have more entertainment than ever. If you like religion, that’s fine, it has its place, but it’s just a bit outdated

I’m way more radical in the fact I think we should publicly humiliate people who worship a made up person in the sky. If there were grown adults with a cult dedicated to Santa people would make fun of them too.
