as we still should!! no one deserves that shit. a lot of people were brainwashed into thinking they’d be protected/excluded from his deportation efforts. he kept saying the “criminals” and people didn’t realize that any illegal immigrant is technically a criminal

yeah and also a lot of it is kinda like wanting to kick down the ladder as soon as they get here. a lot of people who did make it here legally or are from families who did hate the thought of people not doing it the “right” way. the thing is they’re going after people trying to do it the “right” way and just grouping every brown person together and grabbing bg them while saying “eh we’ll find out if their illegal later” but never putting in enough effort to actually find out if they’re illegal
