Only private institutions can do this. Federal and state (and all other PUBLIC) universities will have MAJOR first amendment issues with both viewpoint discrimination and content discrimination.

Which makes sense I guess. But still kinda sad. They just had the valedictorian record a 2 minute speech and didn’t need a backup (me I was salutatorian )
