I am Republican. If the Commanders and Guardians change their names back then Tampa’s MLB team should bring back the word “Devil.” Either all cultures can be mocked in sports or none can. Trump you can’t have it both ways

Why did they make Tampa change their name. The New Jerseys devils still exist.

They changed their name partially because of the negative connotation and partially because they sucked real bad and wanted to rebrand. The New Jersey Devils are named for the Jersey Devil, a local urban legend. They’re not named for the Devil in the biblical sense
