There was a Democrat governor in Mississippi from 1878 to 1985, so who banned Sesame Street????

Read about John Bell Williams, the governor at the time. He was more conservative than a lot of republicans today, it was just before the parties switched names. He also endorsed pretty much every republican for president after the switch, from 1968 until he died.
