they WANT nothing to be political, they want to be able to act ignorant while others are being persecuted and exploited. there's no point giving that ultimatum to them, you just have to continue to exist in the reality that politics affect everything

Where were the socks made? Do you support that countries actions? If not, then you have quite dilemma now. Minecraft was made by Sweden- this Sweden way of using soft power to increase its international influence. Everything has politics behind it

Minecraft was made by a Swedish developer, not the nation itself The socks were made in Vermont, I support vermont

Many movies in the U.S. are made by individual producers, yet the U.S. still very much uses those movies to spread its influence. Same applies here

Sometimes it has to be said though, especially with the World Cup right now

What parts specifically from playing Minecraft do you believe one would take as Swedish culture

The same way a movie about Greek Mythology made in America would still spread American influence. It’s not about the culture, that can help sometimes but it’s not the main driving force, it’s about spreading influence.

Im asking you what specifically, when someone loads up Minecraft what part of the game are they to be taking away as a Swedish influence

Simple. It gives Sweden a reputation. Good game made by Sweden -> Sweden makes good games -> Sweden good

Is the game in Swedish , or display a Swedish flag? How would someone loading Minecraft tie it back to Sweden

How is the electricity generated to play the game? How were the rare earth minerals in your computer mined? How many hours did you have to work to afford the game? How much free time do you have to play?

At the end of the day the only thing causing your suffering is your own mindset. You could say everything is political. You could say everything is spiritual. You could say nothing is political. You could say nothing is spiritual. They're all true depending on your perspective. You just happen to live with the most stressful and damaging perspective. But If it works for you have at it.

Reality is everything is political. Saying “nothing is political” in it of itself is a political statement

That's a perspective sure, but saying nothing is political is not political that makes no sense, and it's an equally valid statement. I'm done with this conversation good day.

Politics at its core is making decisions. Your decision for “nothing is political” is still a decision, and therefore- still political

So everyone who's ever made a decision is a politician? Good argument man that makes total sense 🤡

Quite literally yes. Everything can be political because everything at the end of the day is political. Putting on a pair of socks can be political. Those socks could’ve been made in a sweat shop by a child worker. Without even realizing- I am enforcing that
