It’s only getting worse with AI, one of my classes is all about AI and society, like a mix of the technicals and then social issues/how it relates to sociological theory and there’s studies coming out now that a non-insignificant amount of the younger generation are completely skipping social interaction and only being friends/dating/talking to chatbots so they won’t even have anyone to pull them out of either side of these types of rabbit holes
