i'm gonna agree with you and say it's probably a lie. but i also have to be honest and say that a lot of guys get maimed or killed during military field exercises and training. a lot of soldiers are kinda slow, their equipment sucks, and the combination is potent.

Accidents happen. This stuff isn’t unusual. If this wasn’t real, you would expect it to be blown out of proportion and used as a casus belli to justify some new military action. And if it was fake, wouldn’t they try to make it about Iran and not say it was a training accident?

Like I expect this to blow over and nothing much to come of it. If that does happen you can be sure it’s real. I don’t particularly like that we just assume everything is fake now, even when stuff like this happens often.
