i genuinely think matlab isn’t worth using if you’re not using simulink, you can do all the same shit in python and it’s easier. and if you need fast code, you can easily use a jit compilation package and get really high performance.

dude compiled python is so badass it’s so fast. it does make it a LOT easier to hit memory bandwidth limitations though.
