It’s not very hard to know not to touch women wearing the headscarf, I rmr a coworker from Bangladesh brought his wife to an event once and all of us only spoke to her through him instead of us talking to her directly.

Yeah that’s pretty weird. If they’re in western society they need to adopt to western social norms, such as women being allowed to talk to people other than male relatives

Yeah it was kinda awkward at first since i was trying to include her in the conversation but when I asked what does she do she just uncomfortably looked her her husband who answered that she’s just his wife. Idk it’s not my culture so I don’t wanna pass judgement or anything but I made the best of it without seeming like a fool. They just moved here in June so they’ll adapt eventually
