the point is israel automatically violates the ceasefire by existing the way it does regardless of any formal agreements. there isn’t a day that goes by where israel hasn’t been violent towards palestinians, not just hamas. if israel ever fully ceased its violence it risks losing control over palestinian land. that’s why i say the ceasefire isn’t for palestinians, it’s only to the benefit of israel in that palestinians must not resist in any way in exchange for israel to “tone it down a bit”.
