Because imo we care too much about ppl’s feelings. I’m tired of objective facts being argued like they’re opinions. Idgaf, if u say that evolution isn’t real “but just a theory” or that systemic racism still exists and harms ppl, or that we are still anti-lgbtq as a country ur “opinion” is just wrong. It’s based on feelings not facts

I mean…to some extent, some parts of the government do care. But clearly not this executive branch until it’s so bad they have no choice but to push someone out like they did to Bondi or Noem

I’m not just talking about the executive, look up the studies on public opinion’s impact on federal policy. It’s been statistically proven that public opinion has a near zero impact on legislation passed in Congress. Our government is run by money for money, people have nothing to do with it other than placing money-hungry sycophants in office that will advocate for billionaires over their constituents
