Fun Fact: It’s impossible to restrict this type of speech without being fascist yourself. In order to do so, you have to criminalize thoughts, ideas, and speech. That’s a fundamentally fascist idea. You can’t eradicate fascism by being fascist.

No it is a fun fact. I fully subscribe to the paradox of tolerance myself. That means I don’t engage with intolerant people. But I also don’t believe intolerant people should be jailed, fined, punished, etc. There’s kind of a massive difference there. Two things can be true at once. Intolerant people can be horrible people who don’t deserve a spot in my life. But they also have constitutional rights just like you and I.
