ok cool it was taken down because it was an even dumber ad and some were unfortunate enough to see it. she was never the face of feminism or taken that seriously to begin with. she did the bath water soap like that’s fucking weird, too. it’s a quick cash grab for her, that’s it. there’s so many dumb ads and absolutely no one is impacted by it as much as everyone is thinking it is.
you can’t change everyone believe it or not. if she’s going to use her looks to get money, then she’s gonna do that. MANY women have come out after doing the exact same thing and expressed regret. she will most likely do the same thing. it will hurt her in the future, but that is her own fault. some people need to learn the hard way. it’s a dumb fucking ad and giving it this much spotlight doesn’t actually help anything
yea it’s furthering the divide. us versus them. that’s not helping. why don’t we try to focus on uniting and not giving this shit that much attention and trying to find common ground to actually make progress? we will only divide and backtrack more by fighting and fighting and fighting
that’s what I said in my comment below lol like I get the argument, but it wouldn’t have been noticed much and further progressed the “us versus them” mentality, so that’s why I drew the “too woke” line. there’s things that don’t need to be brought up and put in the spotlight bc that isn’t doing any good. we need to redirect this frustration into something that can actually make a positive impact. if we stopped being this upset about every dumb fucking thing and arguing about it, we could
unite and say “hey you may disagree, but if you know someone who can’t afford a pap smear, please look into planned parenthood! I want to ensure that everyone gets screened for cancer.” and educate on that service even though it has the negative perception bc of abortion. shit like that. not this dumb ad
