Fuck the people who voted for MAGA but the dems are a little more than “vaguely problematic.” I’ll vote against letting another republican gain power every day of the week but I don’t think it’s the beeeest idea to use this kind of language as it indirectly downplays the very real and systemic issues the Democratic Party has.

The Democratic Party suiting up to let the Republicans do whatever they want with only mild pushback and then act like they’ve done something

Y’all are oblivious it’s insufferable. Calling yourselves “vaguely problematic” is just so ridiculous.

no i agree. dems for sure aren’t good either but the context of this quote was purposely downplaying the “vaguely problematic” side to get said side to cooperate long enough to also be abolished. dems lack actual morals but they can be useful to us until the worse threat is gone

The Democratic Party finally winning an election with a trifecta only for the filibuster to magically come back into play despite never seeming like much of a problem for Republicans

Donald Trump and the Republican Party are evil. We all know this. We would like the party that claims to not be evil to stop also doing evil shit. Pretty simple stuff here.

In my opinion neither party is “evil”. There’s been things in the past that i agree with on both side of the political spectrum. Some people in both political parties go to the extreme, but that doesn’t mean im going to stereotype every democrat or republican. i think Trump is evil and so is his administration. Does that mean the republican party as a whole is the same? No.

The Republican Party as a whole supports Donald Trump. The Republican Party as a whole supported George W. Bush and Dick Cheney while they killed a million people in a country that had nothing to do with the attack they used to justify it. The Republican Party as a whole supported Ronald Reagan when he funneled weapons to a drug cartel in Nicaragua while engaging in the disastrous War on Drugs. The Republican Party as a whole supported Barry Goldwater when he ran on not allowing Civil Rights…

But I definitely don’t agree with what the republic party is doing at the moment. But i used to agree for what they stood for before trump ever took office. He’s simply ruining our political system with hate.

Before Trump took office, the Republicans were already the party of slaughtering a million Iraqis, enacting the most extensive surveillance program in American history, and crashing the US economy.

But saying “as a whole” simply isn’t true. Didn’t Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton support and vote for the iraq war?

Yeah, and I fucking hate Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, because they go along with evil Republican shit every time.

Right. Both sides do evil things but saying everyone that republicans are evil or everyone who’s a democrat is evil simply isn’t true. I would say i’m more democratic and yes the democratic party hasn’t always done the best but if someone calls me evil because of the extreme actions of others i think that’s wrong 🤷‍♀️
