The Hague is useless. International courts are useless and have never worked.

Idk man. Former Nazis being declared “de-Nazified” in absentia at the Nuremberg trials never really made much sense but the Tokyo trials ended up laying the groundwork for Japan to be reborn as a respectable, highly developed, economic power.

Granted, they achieved most of that by framing Tojo as the fall guy and keeping the Emperor around so that MacArthur could more effectively insure the safe governance of the country. But hey! It did move the wheels of history nonetheless.
